http://au.element14.com/united-chemi...ial/dp/1690633 those should be fine (Chemi-con LXZ)
If you need something quickly, then http://au.element14.com/rubycon/16zl...16v/dp/8126305 (Ruby ZLH), since the Chemi-cons are Singapore and US Stock, but they are cheaper.

I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

      Re: Seasonic 200W SFX woes

Would getting the Nippon Chemicon KZE 2200uf 16v capacitors from this eBay seller be alright?
Seems at first glance from the datasheets they are similar in specifications, I think $2.87 per capacitor for the Panasonic FK is a bit steep, $1.50 per cap for the KZE is a little more tolerable.

I guess anything i choose is better than the PCE capacitors at this point.

        Re: Seasonic 200W SFX woes

The ones that guy sells are cheap for a reason, they're old stock. May or may not be good, may work well but you can't tell for how long they'll last.

There are alternatives to that FK, you don't HAVE to get that one.

element14 actually has the KZE in stock at 10 mm diameter. (later edit : sorry, it's not 10 mm, it's 12.5mm as well )

        http://au.element14.com/united-chemi...16v/dp/1691135

But I have a hunch that the 2200/16 caps are actually bigger - if they're the same CE-TUR the datasheet says they're 13mm x 20 mm so you should have 13mm to work with. Compare the size with the one of your 2200/6.3 - are they the same diameter?

In the case you can work with 12.5mm diameter, the following would work just fine :

        http://au.element14.com/nichicon/uhe...16v/dp/1823634
        http://au.element14.com/panasonic/ee...16v/dp/9692088
        http://au.element14.com/panasonic/ee...16v/dp/1219464
        http://au.element14.com/panasonic/ee...0uf/dp/1800641

The ones towards the end (the FM and FR) are a bit too low ESR but I believe they would work just fine.

I've worked on these PSUs before. The caps are 10mm, and squeezing 12.5mm caps in is not easy. The trouble is, I'm not familiar with that ebay seller. The only ones I trust are Audjade and egekecu, and I don't think either have those caps (although I know egekecu used to). The way I see it is that I'd rather pay an extra $3 for the two caps and have the peace of mind that they are new genuine parts which will hold up well.

            Re: Seasonic 200W SFX woes

Okay, thanks for the advice, i'll get the caps from element14, seems like the risk of getting fake or old faded capacitors is too high, but it seems like a thrill :P, but i'm not willing to risk it in this case. It's just annoying the minimum order qty is 5 for the Panasonic, but i guess i can use it to recap something else in the future.

I'll post later on with a list of capacitors i need, just to confirm, thanks for your help everyone.

              Would getting
5x 16v 2200uf Panasonic (since 5 min qty for the Panasonic)
              5x 6.3v 2200uf Nichicon
              2x 16v 220uf UCC/NCC

Would this be correct, just making sure in case i accidently mess up the order and purchase the incorrect capacitors.

Finally got my capacitors from Farnell/Element 14, I've recapped my power supply it seems like they are within tolerances, although the 12v seems a bit low as well as the 5vsb rail.

11.6v on the 12 volts rail
5.0v on the 5 volts rail
3.3v on the 3.3 volts rail
4.8v on the 5 Vsb rail

Maybe one of the small caps is short.

11.6V is fine though. Might rise under load, and as other rails get more load too.

Those cheap testers are often wrong. I had one, and it would always show the 12V2 rail to be higher than the 12V1 rail, even on single rail PSUs.

I'll get my digtal multimeter to test it, I did try to put more load on it and the voltage did rise by 0.1 volts on the 12v rail, but it appears to be a success, thanks everyone for your help
