I realized after further research, do you know why the computer won't turn on after this manipulation? And yet it's a bios chip, isn't it? (i put back this file i posted into the chip)

Little UP, I still can't find a solution, I must have done something that caused this, but I can't figure out what...

Hi. My dell latitude 5530 has already 2 M.2 ssd slots, but I'd like to use also the WWan slot with a small ssd 2230/2242 pcie, as I do also on my old latitude 5580 (on it, WWAN slot works with a WD520 2242, 1x pcie lane only but great). I tried to use wd520 2242 on the WWAN slot of the 5530, but it is not visible at all. On the schematics (attached) it seems that it's doable, using WWAN slot for ssd pcie, if only we could change the state of the slot to state#1. But can we do this ? do we have to mod the bios ? Because there is of course no option in the bios for this. Thank you !

Hi, could you help me disable Absolute? I used the Rex98 patch to unlock the admin password, but I still can't disable Absolute.

Dell Latitude 3590 BIOS dump request
                                        by owegner75
Heya, I'm looking to reflash the BIOS on a Dell Latitude 3590 P75F001 (Service tag: 1HBSDP2). Does anyone have the BIOS for this laptop?

Additionally, I'm not 100% sure I've properly located the BIOS chip. I've found a chip marked as 'UC3' on the mobo, which is labelled as 'WINBOND 25Q128JVSQ 1748' and located right next to where the touch pad's ribbon cable connects to the mobo (see pic). If anyone can verify that this is in fact the correct chip that would be wonderful....

No images are displayed at all - no DELL logo on POST, no messages, no Windows desktop. But I can hear that Windows starts up correctly, so no issues with the rest of the system - must be...

                                        Hi,
