Bios unlock for DELL LATITUDE 7420

Hello guys,

I forgot my bios password that I set on my latitude 7420 some 4 years ago. Now I want to upgrade the ssd and install windows 11 on it but I don't know the bios password anymore.
Can someone help me out please ?

This doesn't work with 8FC8, so you have to upload the BIOS chip contents here.

thank you for your answer, but istill have a problem to read the content from BIOS chip. My BIOS is 25Q80DV, but i found only 25Q80V in the table from SPI Programmer. i attach some fotos. How can i solve this problem?

Sorry that's not the BIOS chip search for a chip with 256 on it. WSON8 chip

Sorry if you have to ask like that, this type of locking up is not for you.
You need a backup of your UC2 32MB WSON8 chip and you have to de solder the chip.
Then you need an adapter to properly connect it to your CH341A programmer.
You need a decent program for your CH341A NeoProgrammer would be the choice.
And yes, I mean the chip on the motherboard, look for UC2, that is your BIOS chip.

The minimum should be CH341A + 8x6 adapter, the other two also bring their own software.
The RT809H is the most expensive but also worth the money.

1st boot, press F2, write service tag, disable Absolute, save (Apply changes), restart. 2nd boot press Alt+F to exit manufacturing mode.

1. Ch341A programmer;
