There are three versions, X756UX, X756UXM and X756UXK, post your backup or look at your own bios to identify it. I'll try to fix it if you post it. -

The webpage from Asus X Series do not list that model, could be an older one, plus it is an update, meaning it is not a full bios file. Your old one is needed for me to fully identify model, my skills are not good enough to rebuild a new bios from the update alone. Please post old one.Comment

Hello, I am looking for an Image, too.
When I plug in the charger, the laptop starts up on its own, but there is no display. I suspect that the BIOS might be corrupted.
I have uploaded the current BIOS and some pictures of the Laptop. I would greatly appreciate any help.

from RULES of this forum:- Provide the full machine model number, serial number (or Service tag, SNID) and the board model number (see https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=88758 ) ,The serial number, make, full model number, motherboard model and revision (except QR codes) must be written/typed at your request as per the rules. With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.
For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.
I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.
I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.
The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.
Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website... -

I know there is somebody who can tell me what is happening with my laptop. For start, it is an asus vivobook s510ua with an asustek x510ua motherboard with an intel i5 7200u cpu and 16gb ram.. i have a screenshot from speccy before strange things started.. as you can see the laptop type and bios version x510ua.302.I don’t manually update the bios because i don’t like to having a bricked bios, i know what troubles that gives..
I did a fresh win 11 install, and after the automatic updates, windows rebooted and automatically started asus ez flash..... -
I have an Asus s5506ma that was bricked after a Windows update supposedly when it was updating bios. It seems to be a meteorlake Intel CPU core ultra, I cannot find too much info regarding this hardware, anyone have info about if it contains Intel ME engine and if there is any tool for disassemble spi image like we do with all CSME or TXE versions using the appropriate Intel ME tool? The problem is original bios file Asus provides, has bios guard protection, I downloaded the latest update for Ami_pfat_extractor from plomatov (previous versions of AMI bios guard extractor doesn't work),with that... -

I have a serious problem to program the Z590 chipset SRAM with a Management Engine after replacing the chipset.
The new chipset is factory new and is not containing any Management Engine. Any attempts to program it into the chipset under Windows ends with a failure (eg. Error 20: Management Engine Device not present, or something similar).
Due to the lack of the ME several ports on the board, including all M.2 ports aren't working, booting OS works only on USB. So it's now other way, as to program the chipset with a ME.
Usually on ASUS boards it worked...
