May i Ask, Is it possible to build this bios without any error ?
i got this laptop problem no display and fan not spinning. Then finally found working bios, now i have two working bios with different problem. Bios from post 1 working with late display and i must install IRST driver every boot to detect nvme, The other bios that i attach, have late display but not detected nvme even i install IRST driver. Any advice ?
Laptop : Asus Q409ZA ( UX3402ZA )
Motherboard : NB5936 V.3
S/N from bottom case sticker : N3N0LP01C142106

Read the rules before posting:
RULES UPDATE for BIOS requests/offers *AVOID BANNING, READ BEFORE POSTING*
Add your bios backup even if it's corrupted, serial number and photos of the motherboard with the QR code.

I think your bios fix the IRST driver from before that detect NVME automatically. But still late display, maybe ME region still need to be clear. But since it's new gen i didn''t find how to clear it. And 1 problem is i can't install audio driver, i'll try searching for solution. But at least it can boot normally when turn on, thank you for your helpComment

I just want to thank Lisa Su for posting this BIOS. Absolutely saved my laptop from a no audio/boot hang issue.
I'm still under warranty with two weeks left, but don't want to deal with shipping/diag fee/etc. just to get a replacement laptop from ASUS.
My cheapy 3v3 modified CH341A (black) programmer worked out great. NeoProgrammer knows that it's connected, but doesn't recognize the IC (XM25QH256C). I was able to choose the IC's previous revision from the IC list (256B) and read/verify/write successfully.

Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried

I know there is somebody who can tell me what is happening with my laptop. For start, it is an asus vivobook s510ua with an asustek x510ua motherboard with an intel i5 7200u cpu and 16gb ram.. i have a screenshot from speccy before strange things started.. as you can see the laptop type and bios version x510ua.302.I don’t manually update the bios because i don’t like to having a bricked bios, i know what troubles that gives..

Hi,
I have a serious problem to program the Z590 chipset SRAM with a Management Engine after replacing the chipset.
The new chipset is factory new and is not containing any Management Engine. Any attempts to program it into the chipset under Windows ends with a failure (eg. Error 20: Management Engine Device not present, or something similar).
Due to the lack of the ME several ports on the board, including all M.2 ports aren't working, booting OS works only on USB. So it's now other way, as to program the chipset with a ME.

hey all, i did a silly thing and flashed bios to perfectly working board. None of the asus official download bios would work with ez flash. They all gave error saying not supported bios file. I tried using uefi tool to extract it to a bin file but then ez flash wouldnt even recognise it.
So, i used freedos and afudos with the aforementioned bin file i extracted and forced the issue. After bios reprogram, reboot and it was dead. Fans spinning but no post.
i have a bios writer and none of the .cap files from the official site work either. I just get one spin, then off, then all fans...10-17-2024, 02:53 AM
