Unlock Lenovo 500e bios

Hello,
by me is chromeos Lenovo 500s (81ES) and i want to test unlock account.
Tested reinstall chromeos from flash and power wash...but still google lock.

Anyone have bios from clean device?

You need some patience searching for chromebook in this forum would have given you the answer.


Flash this, try to switch to devmode (you probably cant but that doesnt matter). Let it restart normally after that. You should be able to log in now. After logging in, do powerwash. After powerwash, it should be unenrolled and with dev mode unlocked.

You need some patience searching for chromebook in this forum would have given you the answer.

Yess...it is working
...only was needed powerwash after first boot...then login, again powerwash....and done.

Unlock Lenovo 500e bios

Hello,
I have a Lenovo 500e 81MC Chromebook locked by the administrator (blocked after internet connection).
So I tried a dump with the bin unlock present here in other topics, but black screen for both....
I tried to enter dev mode (esc+refresh+power) then ctrl+d but it tells me that dev mode is not enabled (see picture)
I have tried several times the same problem
I have tried a reinstall of Chrome and I come back to the same point each time?
I've tried reinstalling Chrome and I keep coming back to the same point?
If so, thank you in advance, I leave the original

try. After that install form USB disk made with Chromebook Recovery Utility for your model (300e/500e 2nd gen)

enterprise enrollment. I took this lenovo secondhand.
And i wasn't aware of this problem.

Any chance if someone can fix my original bios.

But fore some reason, when i flash the new bin and
reinstall OS from my USB, now am getting
Chrome OS is missing or damaged.

I also got msg during installation about error.

So now am stuck at "Chrome OS is missing or damaged"

Any advice on this one. Tnx in advance!

Also this new bios u give me, its showing the same
msg regarding Develep mode disabled.

Not sure 100% am I doing something wrong here.

If anyone have some input here, it would be really welcome.

make USB install stick with Chromebook recovery utility for your model. Yours is 500e NOT 500e 2nd gen.

Not working.

I used my recovery code (ROBO360 D4H-A2D-B4Q-C9E-B2I-A8N)
to make USB like 6x times and getting ERROR at the end of installation.

I also try it step by step to select 500e OS and (not 2nd gen. for sure)
4x times

And am always getting error.

You did fix bios / block_devmode 1 to 0

But for some reason it's getting stuck at the end of installation with
same error.

Is there anything else that could be causing this?

TRY THIS. Changed SN and few bytes from stable_device_secret.

If doesn't work it seems to be a problem with eMMC.

It did the trick.
But on first installation i had the same error.
Then in the middle of the second run i power down
and did the power wash.
And after that it loaded the OS just fine.
