Just so you know, I understood the problem of getting stuck on the LENOVO logo, I tried it on another Lenovo that got stuck (X1 Carbon) and I had the same problem, in fact you just need to spam Enter & F1 to get to the step before the logo if that helps!
And I unblocked both!
Thx for the forum
Alors avec celui ci j'ai les mêmes choses que le bios original.
Bloqué à l'étape 5 :
[ HOW TO USE THE PATCH ]
STEP 1: Flash and replace current BIOS with the generated patch file
STEP 2: Boot the machine
STEP 3: Press ENTER/F1/etc. to enter BIOS settings
STEP 4: Enter any character when asked for Supervisor Password
STEP 5: Press enter when it shows Hardware ID
STEP 6: Press space bar 2x when asked
STEP 7: Turn off machine
STEP 8: Restore original BIOS
STEP 9: Reset BIOS settings to factory...
Any help please on my message posted above (#3246)?
I have tried a clean ME of the original bios before patching and still stuck on the LENOVO logo.
Thanks
Hello !
I followed the instructions, on an X270 motherboard (I work on the board alone so no battery or battery bios), the patch worked well no error and generate the file "patched".
I did hold the anti-tamper switch down the whole time, but when the reboot finished I stayed on the "Lenovo" logo to press enter and nothing happened...
I haven't done a clean ME.
Any ideas?
I'm attaching both but I'd especially like to understand why it's blocking, thanks in advance and thanks Knucklegrumble.
Hello,
I have a Lenovo 500e 81MC Chromebook locked by the administrator (blocked after internet connection).
So I tried a dump with the bin unlock present here in other topics, but black screen for both....
I tried to enter dev mode (esc+refresh+power) then ctrl+d but it tells me that dev mode is not enabled (see picture)
I have tried several times the same problem
I have tried a reinstall of Chrome and I come back to the same point each time?
I've tried reinstalling Chrome and I keep coming back to the same point?...
So thank you, in fact when I said that it was a 64mo chip it was because the programmer detected it as such...!
But no, it's a 128MB chip!
I understand better the problem of the bios, I will change it and install the bios provided.
Sorry I was a bit stupid...
I'll keep you informed, thanks to both of you ...
I got it like that I didn't change the chip and the bios provided is the one that was on it after the bios update, and I had been able to do my Windows installation with everything functional before doing this update!
Hello,
I have the same problem, the two bios posted are 16mb while mine is on a 64 chip and is 8mb?
The laptop bugged during an official update that I had to do because I had problems booting (ME corrupted?) I access the bios which seems to have done the update, but no more boot...
If someone can look at it and tell me I'm interested, I put the original...
Thank you for the information after having looked in detail I had the last two connections 31 and 32 that moved and the 32 is even broken more than to remake them and find the right connector (another story! )
So a big thank you ...
Hello,
I don't think it's a bios problem either, I wanted to know if it was possible to reset the EC via the bios I thought I saw that some time ago.
I have already looked at the motherboard in detail under the microscope no worries at this level, on the other hand yes good idea to look at the continuity with the EC pins and the connector not thought, otherwise yes I would not have the choice either to equip myself or find someone who does.
Thanks
I have a keyboard problem on a lenovo e550, so it's not the keyboard itself having tested another functional one. And same problem with some keys that do not work.
I think it's an EC problem but I don't have anything to program it.
I tried several dump bios but always the same problem
Is there any way to do something with the bios? Or the only solution is to reprogram it or change it?
I link the bios
Thanks in advance...
