Corrupted bios Lenovo Y540-15IRH
My laptop stopped working after changing some bios settings. Laptop starts but only black screen (not gpu related issue). I would appreciate if someone knowledgable could help me fix the bios file or at least tell me where to look. I already have a CH341A Programmer and familiar with how it works.
Original unmodified bios file: https://*******.com/u/TWW*******
I do not remember exactly what I changed or which change caused the issue. I played with the following settings in the bios before it went bad:
Intel SGX
Intel PTT key
Secure boot
I already tried to reset CMOS. I used this https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Gaming-...5026109?page=1 guide, see step 5. No change.
I also flashed the bios with latest bios version from Lenovo website. I trimmed the downloaded bin file by comparing the start and end of the hex offsets with the original bin file. Still no change.Comment

Re: Corrupted bios Lenovo Y540-15IRH
It did not work. Laptop power button keeps blinking, no screen and fans working normally. Keyboard backlight also works.
Btw I did have to trim the bin file from post #10 because the file was too large. I trimmed the last bit of the bin file by comparing it to the old dump in HxD. Don't know if this is the right way to do this.Comment

Replace the DMI block (from your bios backup to the bios attached in post #10) using above offsets .

Need help unbricking Lenovo Legion Y540-15IRH
Hello everyone! I'm in big trouble!
Three days ago I had to force shut down the laptop by pressing the power button and after that the laptop would not start. Keyboards lights and backlight on, fans on for a while but laptop won't boot at all.
I have therefore tried to use CH314a programmer in order to write the bios onto the bios chip. First time I tried using a bhcn26ww already trimmed file I found on the internet but no response. 2nd try I have tried to trim the latest file myself, bhcn45ww and after I have successfully written the file on the chip, the laptop won't even turn on the keyboard lights or backlight anymore! Next, I have tried to reuse the bhcn26ww file from earlier to see if anything changes and I have returned to the main problem: laptop would not boot but at least the keyboards lights and fans are working again. After that, I have tried writing the bhcn38ww and bhcn44ww bin files that i have found on this forum onto the chip but it seems that nothing works.
Would you be able to give me the right bin trimmed file please or guide me through what I would have to do further? I'm in a bad spot and I really need this laptop to not die on me.
Bios chip: GD25B127DSIG
Also this is the bios file that i read before i have made any modifications on to the chip:Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Post the laptop's serial number, your error may be due to the hardware.Hello everyone! I'm in big trouble!

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem
Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
Initial Findings:- My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
- I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
- I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
- I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
- I concluded that the

by WahazHello,
I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....-

by gestalt.exeHi everyone,
My Lenovo Legion Y540 (i7-9750H, RTX 2060) bricked after I downgraded from BHCN44WW to BHCN21WW.
Laptop stopped booting entirely.
I used a CH341A programmer to dump the corrupted 16MB BIOS.
i then attempted the following:- Downloaded stock BIOS BHCN39WW from Lenovo
- Trimmed it to 16MB
- Extracted the BIOS region from the corrupted dump
- Extracted the BIOS region from the stock 39WW
- Replaced the corrupted BIOS region with the stock one (within hxd , opened the corrupted dump and replaced its region by the stock)
- Injected back my LDGB / DMI

by grimacelordHello there.
I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.
History:
1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.
I searched for this error online and discovered...-

by to5it0Need Clean BIOS/EC Bin File for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e - Stuck with 0275 Error CMS
Hello everyone,
I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.
This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.
I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...2 Photos-
