            Hey sourcebf,
I have precisely the same problem, my XPS 9710 BIOS is toasted. I checked your service tag on Dell's website and it's the same GPU/CPU configuration as mine. So I'd like to give your fixed version a try. I'm curious now how did you flash the BIOS to the machine? I located the BIOS flash chip on the motherboard. Did you use a programmer like CH341A clipped to the chip, or is there some other secret method / header to reflash the BIOS? I'd love to hear from you!

Hello, I have this XPS 9710 that refuses to charge due to "The Ownership Date" field being empty in BIOS. Basically, it doesn't even want to recognize the charger until the battery charge percentage drops to 55% or lower. I tried to reflash the BIOS by using a bin file from a different thread but the computer does a repeating pattern: keeps flashing DELL logo, no boot. If I revert to the original BIOS, computer works just fine but not charging.

Could you, please fix the bios file so that either the ownership date is already populated or perhaps I can go into the manufacturing mode and change it myself. Thanks.

I downloaded several bios files from different websites with mixed results. However, none of them work. The only bin file that works is the one I posted but again no ownership date. If someone can help me out and either fill out the ownership date or fix my bin file, that would be great.

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
                  by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

Help with BIOS update on Dell G15 5515 after chip replacement
                  by capoplays
                  Hey everyone,

I recently bought a Dell G15 5515 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and 3060 RTX. The BIOS chip on it was dead, and my hardware guy replaced the chip. After that, everything was working fine.

The BIOS is currently at version 1.22.1, and I wanted to update it. I downloaded the latest BIOS version from Dell Support using my ST: FQZMYJ3, but when I tried to run it, it says "unsupported system." I asked my tech guy what he did, and he said he took the chip from another board and flashed it onto mine.

When I check the BIOS using the F12 menu Flash...

Dell latitude 5320 corrupted bios repair
                  by wwbielsko
                  Hi,
I got corrupted bios bin file, which way is correct to repair.
File puts errors on Me Analyzer and cannot open in FIT.

To open in FIT I made:
                  1. Extract MFS and EFS using MEAnalyzer from other bios file with the same parameters
                  2. put it in HxD to my file
                  3. MEAnalyzer shows 1 error after that
                  4. file opens in FIT

                  and:

                  A:
                  1. extract current dell bios on website
                  2. put System BIOS with BiosGuard v1.30.0.bin using FIT
                  3. MEAnalyzer OK no errors
(this version shows only logo at bootup - freezeing)...

Dell Pro 13 Plus PB13250 Bios Unlock
                  by Akhlz001
                  Hi,

Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate...
