Hi,
I got corrupted bios bin file, which way is correct to repair.
File puts errors on Me Analyzer and cannot open in FIT.
To open in FIT I made:
1. Extract MFS and EFS using MEAnalyzer from other bios file with the same parameters
2. put it in HxD to my file
3. MEAnalyzer shows 1 error after that
4. file opens in FIT
and:
A:
1. extract current dell bios on website
2. put System BIOS with BiosGuard v1.30.0.bin using FIT
3. MEAnalyzer OK no errors
(this version shows only logo at bootup - freezeing)
or
B:
1. get the same ME region as in file 15.0.23.1706_COR_LP_B_PRD_EXTR-Y_E1BB3E12
2. put it into file using FIT
3. MEAnalyzer OK no errors
(not tried yet)
or
C:
1. extract current dell bios on website
2. put System BIOS with BiosGuard v1.30.0.bin using FIT
3. get the same ME region as in file 15.0.23.1706_COR_LP_B_PRD_EXTR-Y_E1BB3E12
4. put it into file using FIT
5. MEAnalyzer OK no errors
(not tried yet)
Which version should work ?
I attached original corrupted file
