Dell bios engineers modified 16-hex System Disabled algorithm, so in some models it behaves as with Dell laptops that use suffix, so instead of typing the "8-digit password+ENTER", use CTRL-ENTER-ENTER right after typing the 8-digit password.
Give it a try, it should make a difference.Comment
