my file is bios extracted from lenovo site + your DMI. Try it without DMI.

i got it to work, but the issue is that it still needs 20 seconds to POST...and the NVIDI GPU isn't showing...the GPU is dead probaly, and i asked originally if it can be removed from trying to power the NVIDIA GPU via bios.

Hi,i have a lenovo ideapad L340 Gaming laptop.
I made a firmware update, and if i install the nvidia gpu its working fine, untill i restart the laptop, after restart i have black screen.I think its bios problem because i cant flash the latest one because i dont have battery, and ask me for that. Can someone make a bios with the latest version for me pls? Maybe a clean one? Would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

DMI information is missing, you have the information range above, switching from one bios to another..

the bios from post 68 is virgin, use the HxD program (it's free on the internet), enter both bios into the program (your laptop and the virgin one),
select that interval mentioned in both bios, copy the interval in your bios and pass it to the virgin bios (copy - paste)....and that's it...

                            Hi peste,
I posted the original problem #1, I still use the half ass bios, audio, wired lan and tpm does not work, no bios info or no detection in windows or linux. I did fill my mtm and serial number via lenovo u1 tool:

do you think if I use virgin bios in post Java anyone ? to flash my bios these hardware problems will resolve? I also updated that half ass bios 2-3 times from lenovo site.
Or maybe use some working bioses posted here?
                            Thanks

Ok, I will extract current bios running on the machine (no lan, no audio and tpm but working windows installation - the machine currently posting this machine). And will include model, motherboard, type here. Currently I am at a cafee working remotely so it may take 2-3 hrs to get back to home. Also I will send photos of pcb and original package to ensure if authenticity is required.

                                Thanks

Ok. But I assume post no 67 has the bios (virgin bios) and also same post indicates "DMI 632000 - 633000" ranges, is that right?

Ok thanks. Just to be super sure, I will use the virgin bios on your post 68/67. And will copy 632000-633000 DMI info from my BIOS to your virgin bios between 632000-633000 and flash my chip. Sorry for my extra posts. Also if I just use only virgin bios on your post to flash my bios chip, would I have any problems except missing DMI info shown on BIOS screen? Thanks

                                        Dear all,

I have recently fixed a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 ALC6 that was not booting due to a BIOS issue. After flashing the BIOS, the laptop boots up, but hard disk is not recognized in BIOS. Is says "Hard Disk : Not Installed". I have tried with 2 different drives (one that I know is working on another laptop) but I get the same result. I do not know if disks were recognized before I got the laptop and fix it, but I don't see any reason why not. I can boot on USB though.

Here the steps I have taken to fix the laptop:
                                        - downloaded latest BIOS from Lenovo Website...

So a couple of years ago i got a bios update through Lenovo Vantage, so i installed it and bricked my whole BIOS, so i couldn't fix it so i put that ideapad in a box, 3 years later i found that one PC and want to recover it to switch from a 2014 hp laptop to this one.

I found a method to recover the BIOS of many lenovo laptops tha consists in pluging in a USB Flash with the BIOS files and power on the laptop with Fn + R keys pressed until fans go loud and start beeping loud, but nothing worked, so i think filename is wrong, i tried naming the bios file as 07WW.BIN, BIOS.BIN, BIOS.fd,...
