i only can find one in vinafix, the laptop turn on but have many problems in boot and keyboard, i don´t have the original because i replace de ITE. Thanks in advance.Comment

Sorry, this is E14 thread. please create a new topic for E15, but need to upload your bios to determine the correct version of Ec because when extracting bios from Lenovo homepage, there will be 2 bios versions for this model (correspondingly there will be 2 versions Ec )

Hi... I presume that repair fail but you update one 128kb dump and this model is 256kb, you must set the kb in the programmer before read the dump.Comment

I have a locked E14 and I have a bad CRC error.
I have tried all the dumps I can find maybe I need to program the EC.

Looks like an I/O chip. Usually it can be a big chip with lots of pins.

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -

After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:

Dell Inspiron 5775 bios locked "Unlock Setup fail"
After generating the Password Recovery code, I go to the “Security” tab - “Locked Settings” - it says “Unlock Settings? I tried many wrong passwords and it shows an error to unlock settings [ Press any key ].
What I did:
I read the bios dump.
Downloaded the bios update to 1.6.0 from the official Dell website, extracted the dump from it, updated the bios, but the problem persisted. Please help me to solve the problem....
