I removed the chip from the machine and made the backup using the rt809, I wrote the patch on the chip using the rt809, but to return the original backup I used the clip. After that the machine was like in the video, I have 4 identical backups and still the machine only does what you saw in the video. -

This happened to me on a probook 440 g11, after I read the bios and patched it, when restoring the machine it wouldn't turn on, when returning to the original bios it wouldn't turn on either, the LEDs would just light up and then turn off.
This machine that is with me and doesn't want to turn on, I made 4 backups of it at different periods and compared them with HxD, but when restoring I restored using clip. The machine does not turn on, it only gives the signal as in the video I sent here.
But her behavior is different from 440 who died after doing what I described above.

That's what happened to me, mine didn't turn on anymore when restoring the original on the first attempt, the machine is intact and has no damage, around the bios there are no nearby components that could be damaged, and the machine simply won't turn on, the keyboard lights just blink, I noticed that the fan just spins and then stops, but doesn't turn on.

What I did:
1. As a precaution, I created 4 identical backups and verified them using HxD;
2. I installed the patch posted here and left it running for the recommended time;
3. I restored the machine's original backup.
Now, the keyboard lights turn on, but then it shuts down immediately. I tried flashing the file using a CH341a with an adapter and an RT809f—these are the tools I have—but the machine still won't boot!

If everything is correct, being the MEC1503 it goes through F12, but does not ask for the password again when entering the bios menu, it could also be because it is a more recent bios version, the ideal is to always keep the oldest version possible, just update the bios file from your original dump of the machine....Leave a comment:
