HP Elitebook 840 G6 bios password

Hello everyone, I don't know where else to turn. I have this EliteBook 840 G6—I desoldered the 16MB chip (the one on the back) and used RC Unlocker, but it didn't work. Do I need to desolder the 32MB one near the RAM too? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

No, you not need to desolder the main bios chip.
Write this EC content and you are good to go.

Hello dear. I try to remove bios pass on my second hand hp elitebook 840 g6 with SN: 2TK9500B5N . I try a lot of bin files here but laptop not start or start with <<endpoint security problem. Also I try two tools for pass remove but again no results. Please for help. Here is my original bin file with possword.

I have an HP Elitebook 840 G6 that has power on auth with 2 users, admin and someone else. Ive tried RC unlocker but had no luck. Does anyone else know what i could try?

Thanks again. It work but I had more problems with the sound. The solution was update the bios after unlock the pass. That is for info if some one have the same problem.

Can someone please help with this BIOS? The laptop turns on and shows a picture, but it's extremely slow to boot; it takes minutes to get to the HP logo (without a disk), and with a disk it takes upwards of 20+ minutes to get to the point where the OS boots. I have removed only the main BIOS. If need be, I'll also post the 16 MB BIOS.

Hey, sadly it didn't help; the problem remains. I attached a video. The laptop will stay on this for a long while and then again on the HP logo and then finally boot in to the OS normally.

This attached BIOS file was programmed on several 840G6 laptops.
If this dump doesn't work then MAYBE you have other problem not BIOS...
