Yes I used Rhetorical Cheese's software V1.0 and it couldn't however i found your post where you uploaded about 5 variants one of their BID matched my dump so yeah that helped me and I was able to use the dmi tool to lock to manufacturing. . I managed to reset my elitebook 850 g2 password using this tool. And thank you for mentioning CH341a and soic8. I actualy use those tools and I know them from your first post in this forum discussion

Hi,
I just tried the tool to unlock the BIOS password for Probook 5670b. I read the chip with CH341 programmer and used the HP Unlock Tool. Erased and reprogrammed the chip with provided .bin file. Everything went very well without problems.
I did disconnect the bios battery, reconnected and powered on the machine but looks like BIOS is disappeared. F10 doesn't work.
Any ideas what could be probably wrong?

Many thanks for this amazing tool. Worked great on my admin PW locked HP Probook 6470b. Can also confirm this tool only removes PW - all other data is retained (DMI etc).

I've been trying to remove the passsword from the bios of my Probook 440 G6 with no luck. HPUnlocker won't work in my machine ("cannot execute script it says")

Hello everyone,
I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.
This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -
Hi all,
My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
(I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)

I noticed on the Xgpro software the BIOS backup files have extra bytes at the end when reading some chips, this is because the Xgpro software also reads the OTP region of those flash chips, and by default will append that region to the saved file
Programmer models: XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76
Example: GD25LQ128D (1.8V), IC size is listed as 0x1000000 Bytes (16777216 bytes) + 0xC00 bytes, those extra 0xC00 bytes will be appended to the end of the saved file by default, resulting in a file size of 16780288 bytes
