Hello, I'm from Portugal, I bought a Dell latitude 5510 and I was scammed. The laptop comes with a system password and I can't even access the BIOS. I have already tried to resolve the situation through the website https://bios-pw.org/ but without success. This system number does not generate any password. When trying to resolve this situation I found this forum and ask for your knowledge to resolve this situation. Thank you all.

Hello,
I need your help to unlock the system password of my Dell Latitude 5510. (ST: 1X6VL63-8FC8)
I extracted the file with my CH341A programmer.
However, I don't know if the file is correct, nor if I used the correct chip.
Attached is a photo of the chip from which the information is extracted.
I used three different programs. (CH341A programm v1.34 | NeoProgrammer V2.2.0.10 | SiberiaProg CH341A v1.45)
Attached are the files extracted from the 3 programs.
Please, I need your help to resolve this situation.

After checking, i extracted the file from the wrong chip.
The files I loaded were from the chip marked in red in the image attached.
The chip doesn't even belong on the motherboard.
I think the correct chip is the one marked in yellow. (XMC QH256BXIQ)
Can you confirm if it really is the chip marked in yellow?
Thanks.1 PhotoComment

by jhanraHi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...-
