So if i did get a programer, ive ran into difrent laptops and devices that alos was a solution ..imagine more expesive ones would work on more of the eproms out there. I can solder two wires, not well but if i need to rremove any chip from a board , i dont think this is a solution for me. I do have another 5510 that the charge circuit is blown...wanting to combine the two utilezing the one with no bios restririction . I love the 5510 i got more with broken screens ect.but ones with bios problem if it remains on board for programing which im unsure if it does .....becoming a bigger endevour than i anticipated. I learn quick but micro soldering a skill i don t have. and at bes need time for a programmer to be shipped appreaciate your help. if its a few weeks from now, i just return and repy this same thread?? sorry so new ..but i will see what i can do and go from there

Thanks Peste for your reply. Sorry to ask you that, but how can I get the original content out of my Bios? I can see all the Bios settings but everything is locked down by this admin pw.

You must have a programmer, for example this CH341A : https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...mer+how+to+use

If you learnt how to use a hex editor you would be able to compare both your backups with some others in this thread. Both of your backups are corrupt ! .If you can`t make good backups its not going to work is it.
