Just reading earlier posts here.... Or do I need to make a dump from the other chip next to XMC QH128AHIG? Atm I'm away from that laptop

Sometimes I feel so stupid, think I did everything wrong above 🙄 I'll try tomorrow to read dump from WSON8 chip next to QH128AHIG.Comment

Just to be on the safe side, did a dump of XMC QH64AXIQ using Colibri 1.0.1.61, Colibri "recognized" chip as GD256Q64 8Mx8, guess it'll fit.Comment

Thanks a lot man, it worked like a charm!
I've used NeoProgrammer 2.2.0.10 + CH341A Black to flash+verfy XMC QH64AXIQ using modified/unlocked dump you've attached above. Soldered back chip to the board, then disabled Absolute and exit from the manufacturing mode same as post #128.
Months ago gave WSON8 adapter to my friend, almost forgot about it, he's out of the country atm. So had to use what I have under my hands to make improvised adapter for CH341A Black, a little bit of precise leg bending, soldering.... and it worked no problem. Maybe pics below could help someone in the same situation like me, sometimes you have to use whatever you have.
For anyone wondering... that copper wire under the chip on pic #3 is to take away the heat a bit, not sure how much chip will heat up while flashing, beter to be safe than sorry.
Markus1741 I owe you, if ever life gets you here where I am just send PM, nice domestic barbecue is at least what you can expect, same thing I'm going to get for this this weekend from a relative I've did this job forHe bought this BIOS locked laptop dirty cheap somewhere in Germany iirc.

by jhanraHi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...-
