    Dell Alienware m17x r2 BIOS dump

    Hi all,

    Have this Dell here that got stuck during bios update to writing block 47 of 70.

    Motherboard : PCB: DELH-41-AB4400-AOOG

    I have download main(U8) and EC (U4) from vinafix and flashed both but no change.

    Symptoms: Powers on with black screen, fan spins, lights on, turns off then starts again with all those but it doesn't turn off anymore and it doesn't react to power button.

    Does anyone have a known working dump for this model?
    Also.. what does U17 do ?

      post the backup copy of the original laptop bios (main + EC) ... as corrupt as it is ..

                  Also tried the wincrisis usb made on xp but it doesn't load it.

                      This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.

                      I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W).                       Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot.                       Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

                      so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
                      in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...

                      I have a ASUS ZenBook UX480F with the following symptoms:



                      I suspect it is a BIOS issue. So I decided to try to clean the ME region. I followed the guide on win-raid, and I believe I have done everything correctly. My problem is: when I open the outimage.bin in ME Analyzer, it says that it is Extracted, and not Region, Extracted as it should be. Is it normal, or did I do something not correctly? This is my first experience editing BIOS files.
