    Asus F540S

    Hi Asus F540S, mb X540SA Rev2.1, SR2KN (Celeron N3060). lightly flooded with fluid. Cleaned. I need bin bios, bios from this site doesn't work. Only led light flashing, no screen. The current consumption oscillates between 10 - 180mA Bios I find from elektroda.pl, this bios charges the battery but the rest remains unchanged. I think there are bios files for Pentium discs available here. I don't know if it matters and if I'm right.

      Post a good clear picture of the motherboard sticker with the barcode on it

                  Thank you, now board current consumption oscillates between 10 - 100mA (battery charging adds ok 0,6A). I have an RT809F programmer, it is possible that I will program KB902QF with it by selecting KB9022 but I have to do it in the socket. This will take some time if possible. I will give a report.

                      I try programm KB902FQ with RT809F but no succes.
                      I use boardvew ASUS X541SA REV2.0 to identification KB902FQ.



                      the programmer recognizes the chip as KB9010 but not read.



                      In picture first answer programmer when board without power 19V.

                      any solution ?

                      My soft RT809F 20210410. Board supply 19V.

                              post S/N, full name and model, motherboard model, etc.

                              post the contents of the bios chip even if it is corrupted..

                                  With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.

                                  For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.

                                  I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

                                  This is the picture of 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all of them being X555LD...

                                  Hello,

                                  I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.

                                  I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.

                                  The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.

                                  Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...

                                  With original bios no POST, only LED lights
                                  With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                                  Some issues
                                  A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
                                  B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                                  I know there is somebody who can tell me what is happening with my laptop. For start, it is an asus vivobook s510ua with an asustek x510ua motherboard with an intel i5 7200u cpu and 16gb ram.. i have a screenshot from speccy before strange things started.. as you can see the laptop type and bios version x510ua.302.I don’t manually update the bios because i don’t like to having a bricked bios, i know what troubles that gives..

                                  I did a fresh win 11 install, and after the automatic updates, windows rebooted and automatically started asus ez flash.....
