        Good evening,
        sorry for the language.
I wanted to ask a question.
My girl notebook turned off during the bios update and now the power light is flashing.

        the model is:
        Lenovo S145-15IWL
        Model:81MV
        S/N: PF14F22Q MTM:81MV010CIX
        Mfg Date:19/08/29 Factory ID:JVHFC1
        MO:PF9XB9829106

I opened the laptop, disconnected the battery and the buffer, I also pressed the reset button on the sides but nothing.
Can I use the file from Giacomo post? or do I have to change it?
unfortunately I can't find the place I saw, but I downloaded the file

I put the file S_145_ASCNXXWW.bin used by Giacomo on an appropriately formatted pen following the guide and giving the name to the file "Format fs=fat32 label=CD_Crisis"

I inserted the pen drive into the USB port where the power supply is, I inserted the power cable, by pressing Fn+R I pressed the power button, I noticed that the power light flashes orange 5 times
then it turns white and starts flashing again, then I leave Fn+R and the computer turns off and on continuously as before, with the on light flashing, nothing happens.
        what should I do?

        thanks

that file is for writing bios chipset not for recovery. Try this file, copy it in USB stick as is (unpacked, of course) and see what happens.

              Good morning,
              I tried, unfortunately nothing changes.
I inserted the device into the USB port next to the power supply, pressed Fn+R and turned on the laptop, the orange power supply LED flashed 5 times and always does so, until I hold down Fn+R, then it goes back to the way it was before.
Fn+R I have to keep it pressed until the power supply LED starts flashing correctly, then I have to remove it.
Thank you for your availability, if you have another solution I am grateful.

              best regards

Fair warning for anyone who has flashed the bios several times (or is going to) and the results are the same, either no picture or the power light is blinking... ,
PAY ATTENTION to your board everywhere where are white circles, where the cover touches the board, in my case some small lines on the circuit where broken by friction from the spacers, so yes bad design , but it can be fixed.

                              Hello, everyone!

I'm facing a problem with a corrupted BIOS and I'm having trouble finding the correct .bin file to re-flash the BIOS on the burner. I've looked in several places, but without success so far.

Below is the complete information about the equipment:

                              Model: Lenovo S145-15IWL
                              MO: PEN039A23074
                              MTM: 81S9000GBR
                              S/N: PE0544K4
                              Motherboard: FV440 / FS441 / FS540 - NM-C121 Rev: 1.0 (Date: 2018-12-12)
                              BIOS Chip: Winbond 25Q128JVSQ

If anyone has this .bin file (or even the functional BIOS dump) or knows where I can find it safely, I'd really appreciate any help!

                              Thanks!

So a couple of years ago i got a bios update through Lenovo Vantage, so i installed it and bricked my whole BIOS, so i couldn't fix it so i put that ideapad in a box, 3 years later i found that one PC and want to recover it to switch from a 2014 hp laptop to this one.

I found a method to recover the BIOS of many lenovo laptops tha consists in pluging in a USB Flash with the BIOS files and power on the laptop with Fn + R keys pressed until fans go loud and start beeping loud, but nothing worked, so i think filename is wrong, i tried naming the bios file as 07WW.BIN, BIOS.BIN, BIOS.fd,...

                                  Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

                                  Hello there.

I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

                                  History:

                                  1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

I searched for this error online and discovered...

                                  Hi,
I want to remove the Bios Password of my Lenovo IdeaPad U330p with the Lenovo autopatcher. I have the CH341A Black and I'm using NeoProgrammer. The Programmer has an LED that indecates when it reads or writes the Chip. When I try to Connect my Programmer to the Bios Chip (Winbond 25Q64FVSIQ) the LED lights up even though I didn't click on Detect botton in NeoProgrammer. If i click on Detect the LED still remains on and NeoProgrammer says "IC not responding".
