Hi, I've been trying to unlock my T480's BIOS for over two weeks now.
I followed all the instructions, tried AutoPatcher and other BIOS versions, but no luck.
I found out that if the CRC check is wrong, the laptop plays a beep and shows a black screen. I fixed that issue, but now I'm stuck at a stage where the laptop just shuts down.
If I restore the original BIOS, it asks for the password again and stays locked. What can I do???

    Type: 20L6-SDR213
    Serial No: PF-14H8HB
    Bios N24ET77W (1.52 )

Thank you for your response and for your assistance.
I attempted to patch the file you provided, but the issue persists.
The system plays the startup melody followed by a blank screen (no display output).
When I revert to the original file you shared, the device boots successfully, but the BIOS remains locked.

Hello guys I really need your support because i tried to modify my bios and flashed it and after that nothing worked anymore...
My Thinkpad T480 doesnt turn on anymore and there are no lights, fan spinning etc... - so basically dead. The only thing working is when i plug it via AC then it charges.
I flashed the bios Chip with a lot of other verions provided in this post and nothing helped unfortunalty.
            My Setup is the following:
            Lenovo Thinkpad T480
            Type: 20L6-S29E0C
            S/N: PP-1QC3TB
Mainboard: i can"t tell you the exact Mainboard because i couldnt find any information about it on itself but i guess its ET480 NM-B501 as usual because i havent seen any other serial number for it.
I would really appreciate the help because i really despair at this task.
So if someone could help me and also need some more information i would love to provide them.
(If its possible to give me an bios with a patched version (advanced menu, overclocking and erasing wwan whitelist) it would be even more perfect but not needed )
I have no back up bios - because mine was broke and the only thing that matter is that my T480 will work again.
            Best regards and Thanks

if you have 3.3 on bios chip look for resistance around bios chip, sometime one of those resistance are misplace or lost. in most cases they are 33 or 50 ohm

Hello I have a t480 with supervisor password. I dumped the bios and patched it with the patcher on this forum. I got verification errors at first but after using another software to write with ch341a I was able to write and verify. But laptops power button blinks 3 times and nothing happens even with original bios. Can anyone take a look at my dump? I also tried other dumps from sit e but same thing. Also I noticed a resistor and 2 caps missing I bridged the resistor and left the caps as is Any Help is Much Appreciated. The resistor is r694 and it is 33 ohm and 2 missing 33p caps c576 and c577 There is 1.6v at vcc of bios and 3.3v at cs

Replace the caps and resistors then it might just work properly.

I fixed the issue it was the d12 diode on the back I put a wire for now I hope it helps someone else Also you can put a wire instead of 33 ohm resistors no problem but putting a new diode is recommended
