I attempted to patch the file you provided, but the issue persists.
The system plays the startup melody followed by a blank screen (no display output).
When I revert to the original file you shared, the device boots successfully, but the BIOS remains locked....

Hi, I've been trying to unlock my T480's BIOS for over two weeks now.
I followed all the instructions, tried AutoPatcher and other BIOS versions, but no luck.
I found out that if the CRC check is wrong, the laptop plays a beep and shows a black screen. I fixed that issue, but now I'm stuck at a stage where the laptop just shuts down.
If I restore the original BIOS, it asks for the password again and stays locked. What can I do???

I have conducted multiple tests and arrived at the following conclusion, please correct me if I'm mistaken.
After patching the original BIOS on my T480 using Lenovo AutoPatcher, the system emits a melody and fails to initialize the display (black screen).
Reverting to the original BIOS dump allows the laptop to power on, but it remains locked.

The BIOS is locked. I performed two BIOS dumps, and both were verified.
The chip is a W25Q128JVSQ, and I used a CH341A programmer. I then patched it, wrote it to the IC, read it back, and confirmed the file was written correctly.
I proceeded to boot the laptop, but there was no display. The buttons light up, a melody plays through the speakers, and then it shuts down.
