Hi Everyone,
I have the Flex 5 -14ARE05, Esc and Caps Lock lights are on, black screen, fans kick in when required and the laptop charges.. From what I have read on here these seem to be the same symptoms that others on here are getting therefore re flashing their bios to cure the problem.
I have tried flashing my bios and a number of bios's from this thread only to end up with exactly the same symptoms, nothing changes no matter which bios I flash. I am using the CH431A V1.7 which allows me to select 1.8v without an adapter. This I have also confirmed with a multimeter. My bios chip is a MX25U12873F and my logic board is a LC55-14A.
Can anybody help me with this issue?

i have a bricked laptop. I know it is the bios. I flashed a version that was posted in the beginning of this thread and the machine started up again.
I have made a backup beforehand and added this as an attachment.

If possible could someone provide me a bios with the my DMI information copied to a new BIOS.
If needed i can provide the cap file.

I would also be happy with the correct offsets so i can try it myself.

NPCE388 CAPACITY IS 128 KB
IF I USE NPCE385PA0DX WITHOUT ANY PROGRAMMING LAPTOP POWER ON AND CPU V CORE ALSO PRESENET BUT IT KEEP RESTRTING ABOUT EVERY 4 SECONDS CANNOT GET ANY IMAGE ON SCREEN.

IS THERE ANY IDEA????

how did you read and write files from the EC chip ? what was your configuration

Here are 2 EC files (192KB) and (256KB), you should know your chip size and choose the right one.
