Hello seniors, please help, the Lenovo laptop has no screen display after updating Windows, when I wanted to retrieve the bios file I found damage to the bios IC, I tried flashing the bios From the files in this forum, it displays successfully, but after I turn off the laptop and turn it on, there is no display anymore.

used the bios in post 3 however same result. Can the DMI information, windows key and serial number be transferred to the new bios if possible. thanks again

if it doesn't work, either you wrote the bios with errors or the laptop has another problem.. use the HxD program to transfer the DMI information from one bios to another.. enter both bios into the program and then (copy-paste) from one bios to the other.. the interval ( DMI) which must be copied, you can find it at item #51..

I have the Flex 5 -14ARE05, Esc and Caps Lock lights are on, black screen, fans kick in when required and the laptop charges.. From what I have read on here these seem to be the same symptoms that others on here are getting therefore re flashing their bios to cure the problem.
I have tried flashing my bios and a number of bios's from this thread only to end up with exactly the same symptoms, nothing changes no matter which bios I flash. I am using the CH431A V1.7 which allows me to select 1.8v without an adapter. This I have also confirmed with a multimeter. My bios chip is a MX25U12873F and my logic board is a LC55-14A.
Can anybody help me with this issue?
