Need help unlocking bios password HP elitebook 830 G6.
I'm sorry, i'm writing in someone else's topic, because i can't create a new post.
In the laptop there was a password for entering the bios and administrator password.
Chip bios - Macronix MX25L25673G
I tried to read the chip using isp, but I couldn't read it. As a result, the dump was damaged ( the laptop stopped turning on ) and the chip is permanently locked for writing and erasing.
I bought a new chip and modified the dump ( on old damaged dump, the laptop did not turn on).
I left the first 16mb from old dump , and took the second 16mb from the bios update file r70_010702.
On modified dump, laptop turned on, everything is ok, the administrator password is unlocked.
But the bios password remained locked. I can't log in to the bios and change settings.((((
How to unlock the bios password?

Here are my dumps, the old one that is damaged and the new one on which i started the laptop. But I don't see a chip 16Mb on the board, there is a chip 25Q80DVIG.

Are you sure this will work? I read that need to modify the dump 16Mb.
You also changed the dump 32Mb and lost a lot of necessary information.

There are 2 ways. The way he did it, removes DMI and unlocks MPM. You would need to enter serial number and other data after programming and then restarting laptop about 30 times.
