there's another bios chipset, read that one too. I think is marked as UC6 on board.

Requesting help making a clean un-corrupted bios.
                                I have a Dell Latitude 5500 with motherboard EDC50 LAG902P Rev 1.0.
It's suspected that a BIOS update was interrupted.

Attached are dumps of the two BIOS chips (Gigadevice GD25Q80 and GD25B256D). Also attached is the most recent BIOS from Dell in exe format and the most recent BIOS recovery file in rcv format from Dell.
Hoping someone can make a functional BIOS from the machine-specific data in the dumps and the functional BIOS from Dell.

Thank you! I appreciate the time you took to help with this. The laptop symptoms are the same however, so this apparently rules out corrupted bios update. (For reference, the symptoms are: When plugged in, the power light comes on white. Then, pressing the power button causes the light to add an amber tint to it but no signs of life from the laptop.)

I am in need of assistance making changes to the boot priority on a Dell Latitude 5500.
A friend of mine gave me his laptop which began blue screening a few months ago, and now upon powering on the system, it is indicating that there is no bootable device.
I suspect it would be a somewhat simple fix to get a new nvme drive and swap them out, if I am able to change the boot priority to a flash drive to install Windows.
Alas, the password in the bios has got me stuck, and I need assistance in acquiring my golden ticket in the form of the bios administrator password.
The service tag viewable in the BIOS is 4M1ZM13-8FC8.

I did take a look at the 8FC8 patcher but I am under the impression that I won't be able to utilize that since I am not able to boot into Windows currently.
Feel free to point me in the right direction if my assumption is incorrect - I am new to tinkering with premanufactured systems/laptops and the hurdles they put in the way, so excuse my ignorance.

                                    Thank you
