Dell Latitude 5500 Bios password

Hello everyone,

I have a Dell Latitude 5500 (8FC8), and I’m trying to unlock the BIOS admin password.

Motherboard : EDC50 LA-901P Rev:1.0 (A00) from 2019.
Bios chip : Winbond W25Q128JVSQ (16mb) – see attached

I also have a Winbond W25Q64JVIQ chip and I'm unsure if I need a dump from it, or if the W25Q128JVSQ alone is sufficient.

Sorry you upload the wrong file in the 8MB chip is the 00FDAA or 00FCAA found.
Your uploaded file is the main bios we need the file with the me region in it.

Program this file to your 8MB chip, and put your 16MB chip back.

I attempted to find the information as I usually do in HexEditor, but can't find any info on the admin password or Absstate. Please let me know if anything else is required!

Thank you very much for the help! Unfortunately the chip has been a extreme pain to remove from the motherboard with hot air, extra solder, and a iron... During the removal to program the chip, 2 copper sections that sit under the chip on the motherboard broke off. I am unable to get the laptop to work now I tried to get the 2nd laptop bios chip off, and after 15 minutes of putting resin, extra solder, then hot air, the chip refused to budge at all. So I plan to return these 3 laptops as unfinished. Thank you very much for the assistance! I would like to know how to do Dell laptops if at all possible. I only know Lenovos and Toughbooks currently.

Hello, I need help with a Dell Latitude 5500. The BIOS is corrupted, it won't turn on. I installed another BIOS file, and it powers on, but it's locked with a password. I've attached the original BIOS file if you can help me repair it.
