Dear all,
I have a Lenovo Yoga X380 (20LJ-S04X03) and I sucessfully read & patched the firmware, however when trying to reapply the patched firmware via CH341a I fail at 0x0080064 because tool wants to write 0xFF to this adress and on chip is stored 0xAA. (this adress seems to be the first one where the patch did moditfications to the firmware)
The BIOS uses a Winbond W25Q128JV with status registers set to 0x00, 0x02 and 0x60. (see pic below)
According to datasheet the write protect should not be active with this bits set.
I am using to the in-circuit clamp method to read/write.
My tool is latest version of "NeoProgrammer" with write&verify enabled for the write process.
Could it be that there is some other write protection? Do you know how to disable this?
Many thanks!
