hello. I have 640 g2, and i think the bios is corrupted. I flashed many of these notebook but this time i couldn't do it. I attached the saved img file. I tried many but the fan spinning at max. The cpu has 1v, 3.3v, 5v also ok. If i remove the bios ic the notebook doesnt start automatically. what this can be?

on bios setup ssd is present but not start SO if i want instal new SO with usb stick don't start installation always stuck on logo HP.

this files is working on me but need to trAnsfer DMI infos from my original bios, is it possible via hex editor? someone could transfer the DMI data to a working bios on post #44?

sorry, maybe i don't anymore to edit the bios just for the DMI data. i tried the config.txt editing while on MPM and it works.. thank you...

my laptop was turning on, 5 caps blink, sometime ram blinks (3 long 2 short blink), fan spins fast and no display, i tried many bios dump, none works for me, but after trying your dump, my laptop works fine,

Thanks for the input but I have to admit with regret that it doesn't work. But there is a reaction, on this BIOS my capslock lights up (all the time) and the power button. But the power button itself doesn't react. On one of the BIOSes from this thread the laptop wanted to turn on but only the fan worked and nothing else. Dear masters, is there a chance to fix my BIOS so that this laptop can start working again?
