Keyboard connector is easier to use in some cases No need to solder anything except that one resistor.

which one works better, more reliable rt809 ?

or is the svod3 just as good, keyboard connector sounds so good..

When it comes to the keyboard connector, it doesn't matter if you use rt809 or svod3. That cable you need to make yourself anyway.

Who here even uses SVOD3 and can successfully unlock all thinkpads with it? What's the secret? Thus far it seems just as bad as SAS JIG when it comes to that.

Do you use this adapter for rt809h for programming via keyboard ??::

No. I took some random flex from some random HP laptop, attached it to some random project board that had that same connector connected to pin header and used jumper wires to connect it to programmer. So it's totally diy.

I guess that adapter board would work aswell but not sure.

Re: mec 16xx dump with info block

Yesterday there was an update for the programmator: "Vertyanov" which can read and write the eeprom area.

                      https://www.vss.store/magazin/product/programmator

Now you do not need to erase the entire firmware and you can edit only the eeprom area.

You can download it from here:

Which programmer works best just about to buy one

                        1. svod

                        2. rt809h

                        3.Vertyanov

which is most consistent and trouble free

                        thanks

Out of those 3, only rt809h has worked fine for me... Until somebody who owns a svod finally tells me how they use it to unlock lenovos...

Of these, only the programmer Veryanov can read and write eeprom, this is the DMI block where the password is stored.

Too bad it's difficult to buy the original but it's easy to buy the copy. And I guess it's not possible to just buy the software license to use vertyanov software with the copy board.

Today I spoke with the author at your request ...
Anyone can activate a clone of the programmer through the author of the programmer Vertyanov and make the programmer licensed. It will work with the latest software version 8.2 which can work with the eeprom area. The activation cost is $ 50.

Everyone understands that the original is the original!
This is news for those who might want to activate their clone so they can work now.
Once activated, the clone will work just like the original.

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
                                            by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                                            Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

                                            Troubleshooting Attempts:

I still have the bricked dump file is it possible to transfer the serial number of the "bricked dump" to the "working dump"?

                                            Hello!

i got a damaged Manson NTP-5561 (60V, 1,6A DC output) and and the main issue is that the controler IC for the LCD display has a short. The controler IC PIC18F87K90 is mounted on the back of the back of the LCD. Vss-Vdd = 3 Ohm. The 5V and 3,3V power line was killed as well, but that is not a problem. A new LDO 3,3V and 5V 7805 is already ordered.
Replacing the PIC18F87K90 is necessary but that makes no sense without having the HEX dump of the new controler.

Does anybody have such a power supply and could do a HEX dump of the Flash and EEPROM memory?

Hello all, as the title says, I'm very much in need of a valid firmware dump of a Anycubic Photon 5.5 3D resin printer. It's stored in a Winbond 25Q32, so it's 4Mbyte.

Here's a little background for my request. A few weeks ago I bought this 3D printer from a guy who had moved on to a PLA printer. I got it at a vey reasonable price, as it was in a defective state. The seller told me that he had experienced a power failure during a firmware upgrade, after which the printer appeared to be dead. He thought the firmware was corrupted in such a way that the printer was now bricked. As he...

After failling trying to boot on other "none Windows" partition, i wanted to try to remove the bios password.
