HP Elitebook 840 G5 - picture attached.
Device background:
I purchased this laptop from a third party, online. Unfortunately, there is an enterprise password lock on the bios and, possibly, region lock as well. The laptop appears to need to connect to a network on startup.
There are two bios chips.- front of MB near the first RAM module - winBond - 25Q256JVEQ - 1832 - picture attached
- back of MB alternate side of the front BIOS chip - winBond - 25Q128JVPQ - 1835 - picture attached
I own a rework station and a CH341A bios chip programmer. I plan to remove chip/s and post contents here. Before I begin, I have a few questions:- Do I need to remove, backup and write over both bios chips?
- Is there a tool provided that will work to remove access rights, both password and region. ie HPUnlocker or RCUnlocker?

Hi everyone,
I’m working on an HP 255R 15.6" G10 Notebook PC that has a BIOS Administrator / Setup password I cannot bypass. I can boot Windows normally, but F10 is completely blocked unless the password is entered. I do not know the password.
This is not a Power‑On Password. This is a BIOS Admin password stored in NVRAM, and the system will not allow BIOS access at all.

I need help with BIOS password removal for Acer Aspire 3 A315-22G laptop.
Device Information:
- Model: Acer Aspire 3 A315-22G
- Motherboard: NB8607G02-MB (Compal LA-J761P)
- BIOS Chip: Winbond W25Q64 (8MB)
- Serial: NXHE7ER00X95002B784S00
Problem:
- BIOS is password protected (Supervisor Password)
- Boot from USB is disabled in BIOS
- After 3 wrong password attempts, system shows Unlock Key Hint

Sorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.
I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip... -

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...
