Now, that's what I call an expert in the field. I tried your instructions and now RcUnlocker recognizes the file and unlocks the password. Thanks to you, to the developer of RcUnlocker and the great community of BadCaps, now I'm able to unlock a bios by myself. I appreciate your help and now anyone using XGecu T48 will be aware of these details.

porlokino, that's because you didn't setup your xgecu properly and add to the end of dump 80bytes. Cut last 80bytes and try again RcUnlocker and will have a surprise. (RcUnlocker identify your file larger than 16777216 bytes so "wrong chipset")
here's the link how to setup your xgecu

I have tried RcUnlocker but the message I got was Wrong Chip. Try reading and unlocking 16MB Chip even though I was dragging exactly the 16MB file.

Dell Latitude 5530 BIOS Password Removal Attempted but I Broke the Laptop
    by TopPop
Sorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.

I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip...

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
    by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

I have searched and found some useful information regarding my issue, but my case is a bit different than the info I'm finding. But if anyone here can give me any useful advice, it would be highly appreciated.

I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).

But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.

I'm trying to reset my bios without success.

    I tried :

-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries...
