              Hello good.
The screen went black after updating bios from the hp page.
When I have unzipped the files I get 5 files .bin and I don't know which one to choose.
My laptop is an hp 15-bs127-ns and the s/n: CND8125KMX
I have also received the CH341A usb but I cannot locate the chip on the motherboard either.
Thank you very much, you do an incredible job.

The chip is on the back of the board. I also encountered this problem. I can't understand if this is a trick, to specifically upload an update that breaks the device?
Please help me restore the BIOS after updating via Windows.

I filled in 08328, the laptop came to life. Everything boots, but in the BIOS the model number and product ID are just letters. Is there any way to fix this or will the laptop stay like this?

also in that post you have the DMI interval..which must be completed..you pass it from the old bios to the new bios...copy-paste use the HxD program enter both bios there, select that interval in both bios and copy-paste..success...

The i7-8550U is a Kaby Lake-U CPU. Go to that thread that peste linked to above ,download and open each of those bios with with MEAnalyzer and look at the chipset support to narrow down which bios to try.

                                          Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                                          🧩 Initial Issue
                                          • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                                          • External display (HDMI) shows

                                          Hello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details

                                          Hello everyone,

I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.

When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...

                                          Dear Forum Readers!

I'm looking for a BIOS modder or anyone with experience who would give me suggestions about my razer blade's BIOS settings.
I can view and edit the content of the BIOS .bin file with AMIBCP BIOS editor.
The BIOS files I'm working with are from badcaps.net and those are CLEAN BIOS files (anyone can find it with the search string: RZ09-0421).
