Yes, BCU will complain, or the BIOS will say "Product information not valid" at boot; about the stickers not matching partsurfer, ask HP ... 
; in most BIOS i checked the Build ID and Feature byte data from partsurfer matches what's written in the BIOS, not so with the model (partsurfer doesn't display full model or family) and SKU number (missing #XYZ, last 3 characters of Build ID)
As long as you don't lock MPM in the first try, you can fix it
Fot rhe CR2032 socket, ask in General Electronics section, or on Troubleshooting laptops, post pictures there, someone may be able to identify a suitable replacement; or harvest one from a dead board
