@hopkok : I rebuilt the bios again, combining the original bios and the bios extracted from the exe file downloaded from lenovo homepage. You have LAN problems possibly caused by a corrupted GBE region.Last edited by hoaca388; 03-09-2022, 06:28 PM.

Hi guys, i reached this specific thread because i am struggling with a t460s that came untouched, but dead. Blinks 3 times, as if powered but no start at all. tried a dump from site, all started but, of course, delayed image and unaccepted WWAN device... made a Clear ME for it but now, the awesome error... Hi all,
This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

Hi all! I was reading on tutorials how to flash a bios to remove password from a bios, and I ended up reading the EC chip instead of the main bios chip, it only gave me a .bin file of 1,024kb, I learned later that that is the EC chip not the main bios chip (I should have read the tutorials here instead before attempting anything, my bad), I went to flash the original backup, the 1,024kb size file into the same chip and laptop is not powering up anymore. I may have screwed the chip or even the motherboard (Hopefully not), I am trying to see if there is a fix before I discard it. I had a couple... -

I’m kindly requesting a clean and unlocked BIOS dump for the following HP laptop, as it’s bricked after flashing SP152727. The system now keeps rebooting, and the original issue was an Administrator / Power-On Password that I can no longer access.😏
