Re: HP ProBook 650 G2 6050a2723701-mb-a02
There are 2 different bios for the 640 g2 (also the 650 G2) , N76 and N87
Try both as we don`t know what version you originally had .

Re: HP ProBook 650 G2 6050a2723701-mb-a02
As a rule, bios chip should be programmed out of the board, the chances of having all kind of problems are quite high if you do it in a circuit.thank u so much it works !!!! its working first one made a job now can someone explain me one thing I had those bin before but I didnt desolder chip from board befor programmed, this time I desoldered chip programmed and it works. Yeah, I know
Writing such a guide is clearly necessary. I see people here every day who get themselves into a big trouble because they don't follow basic rules. I won't be able to start until the end of the week (I'm too busy at work), but next week I'm sitting down to write it.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Re: CIRCUS-6050A2723701-MB-A02 bios
The 9.216kb is a 9MB update, not the full bios. If its only running slow try cleaning the ME region. ME cleaning guide https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=88533hi please i need bios hp probook 640 g2

Re: HP ProBook 650 G2 6050a2723701-mb-a02
MEInject isn`t recommended for anything above version 6/7 FW. Use the win-raid guide.Give it a go,if you can`t do it let us know .Comment

by studdy05Hp Probook 450 G7 s# SCD0348W35 had a locked BIOS. Bought BIOS and EC chips off Ebay that were supposed to match this machine - the 450 G7. Flashed in the BIOS on chip i bought using a CH341. BIOS unlocked next boot. Some error to contact HP. Entered BIOS and reset to system defaults and rebooted. Machine worked fine but every cold boot the contact HP message popped and everything else worked as fine. Assumed the error was from EC chip not matching BIOS that i just flashed in. So i flashed in the EC that was supposed to match from the EBay chip i bought and instant brick.

by PhadDear All,
Hope that this post is at the right place of the forum.
I am seeking help and technical advice to remove bios admin password from HP ProBook 4520s.
The laptop is operating normally and, I am not facing any major issue with it except; the bios admin password that I found about by coincidence only few weeks back.
As the laptop is operating normally, I am reluctant to take it to a workshop to de-solder the bios chip in order to read it by an external programmer, as I am not an expert in doing such a thing.

by macabookHello everyone,
I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
🧩 Initial Issue- Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
- External display (HDMI) shows

by cr4zychrissHello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details- Barebone / Chassis: TongFang GK7MRFR
