I've looked everywhere but i couldn't find a suitable bios for this laptop.

The internal screen doesnt work but the external works fine.

Yes you're right my programmer read it as W25Q16, didn't bother to
check what's written on the chip, i'll make a new dump and upload it.

It didn't work, my guess is that the bios password is stored on the EC chip and whenever i put another bios it gets written back by the EC firmware.

Hello there,
i'm having an issue with this laptop when i turn it on i get a black screen and
the fan after a few seconds ramps up until full speed and stays in this state
until i power it off, tried with a few different dumps i found in the interweb
(couldn't find any here) and the only difference is that the laptop powers on
directly but still the same behavior (black screen and fan ramping up to full
speed)

I have the same PSU turns on for about 15sec then switchs off and doesn't turn on unless i unplug it and let it cool off for a bit, so something is definetly getting hot, i've tested all
the caps they all seem fine with low esr both on the main and the secondary side, all the voltages are present when turned on, if someone ever encountred this problem your help will be much appreciated.Leave a comment:
