        Hi again,
Finally, I got a minipro to flash my bios chip.

I desolder the chip from the board and place it into the minipro. Made the read and save the file to have a backup.

After i download the file from asus site and loaded the file X551MAAS.515 into the minipro and hit "programming" with all the defaults, after a while i got an error like the photo attached.

I know i'am doing something wrong but i have no idea what. And this is my first time flashing a chip.

Can anyone give me a hint ?

Hi, thanks for your suggestion, but i have that adapter, it's a 200 mil 8pins.
First thing i did was read and save what it read. But if i try to write the file read previously i get the same error.

did you select good IC? Do you see a chip ID in read ID function?

What version of MiniPro software do you use? Did you upgrade firmware on device (Tools -> Flash firmware)

Also try with this .bin file

The version I'm using is 6.50. In Tools ->reflash firmware that option is disabled.

I can read the chip id with no problem.
I tested with your dump file and got the error too...

try uncheck the verify in the options before you start programming

                      Thank you
                      Finally, the file was written
So the option to verify isn't necessary?

It is necessary but when you got an error when flashing you can try uncheck that option to make it complete
