Hello - I used these 2 files for an e6530 discrete which had no display. It works fine, but I cannot update past A02. I even tried A03 from Windows as well as USB and it will not update. Anyone have any ideas? I am not looking forward to taking it all apart again. I will post my original dumps. Thanks in advance.Comment

Thank you very much. That worked perfectly. After flashing those, I was able to run the Dell Bios update from Windows and clear the missing manifest. If it helps anyone, I was able to use the clip without removing the chips from the mainboard.Comment

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. This is an unreleased internal firmware revision recovered from a university loaner Latitude E6530... and it possibly bricked the system it came from.
It is from the 8 MB Winbond W25Q64 chip. Could be nothing burger but given the anomalies this is a very interesting firmware dump.

Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅... -
