when you flashing with niggi file, is ppid and servicetag still same displaying with your original ppid/servicetag? if that happen, yes your password is stored at kb9012 ... i try to trace for niggi file, cannot found servicetag/ppid...

this is kb9012 files maybe fit for your board...
you can compare with your backup original kb9012, before flash..
for main bios i think, you can use niggi file

fyi: you can get ppid and service tag this kb9012 with hexeditor at 1E000 address...

Thanks RIORENO. My programmer ( TL866CS ) doesn't support to do KB9012. I just ordered for RT809F Programmer, and it will reach me within 15 days. I will get back to you soon.

can you show me how to retrieve password from dump of super IO KB9012. I want to
dump flash from IO with CH341 programmer. It seems that activate EDI on this superIO can access directly embedded SPI.

Hello there,
I'm trying to repair a Dell laptop with a Bios Issue.
I downloaded the file you have post on May 2016 and flash the bios chip with my external programmer (TL866CS)

Unfortunately it didn't solved my problem.
I'm convinced that the bios is corrupted,the Laptop is turn on and the fan is spinnig, the screen is BLACK and I hear 2 beeps one is loud and the next is low.(repeatedly).

The model is DELL 15R-5537
MotherBoard model VBW01 LA-9982P, REV 3.0(A02)

Do you have another bios file that you took out from a working motherboard?
Or do you have any ideas for my symptom?.

I am having the same password problem on bios. But I do not have the bios burner .... I would like to edit the Bin file and flash it through Insydeflash.
If anyone already has the file and share thank you.
