Did you try to get a password with the service tag first.And as far as i know dell uses a nvm chip to store the password so flashing the bios wont help.Your best bet would be contacting dell for help.

Sp fan spins it may be something with the video output.Try an external monitor.If you still don't get signal maybe you GPU is fried.Leave a comment:

Hello everyone i recently found a cheap broken Philips 37inch lcd tv.I have decided to try repairing it.I have tried the flashlight method.The tv turns on with no picture and red light for less then a second followed by 18 white led flashes.So far i have checked the ouputs on the power board everything is in the range but the INV-OK pin is 0V.Any suggestions will be appreciated
