acer E1-531 Q5WV1 strange bios problem

hello all

i need your advice and guidance

i got this acer E1-531 with board
Compal LA-7912P Q5WV1

intel platform with intel on cpu vga, no descrete

problem was there is no image on screen, fans spins, led iluminated but nothing on screen

as it happens, im fairly good with bios, so i flashed bios
on web there are v1.xx and v2.xx but i did not know what version i have so i flashed v1 (both bios main 4mb, ec 1mb)

it had post, give image but did not boot windoews since v1 does not support uefi boot

so i made v2 bios and flashed
it turned on, booted, everything seems fine

but problem is next:
if i enter bios and change ANYTHING and save and exit it wont post anymore??????????

i tried web bios, dump and everything but always the same.. .

any ideas???

Might be The IC won't save it anymore if there was a change, so try replace the IC, or CMOS circuitry that has problem, just guess

tnx for idea, tried that today, same thing... using good known tested eprom

have sch also if needed

yesterday i got another pavilion dm4 with almost same symptoms
flashed bios, worked for a day, after restart no image
flashed again, powers on, displays "flashing boot block", reboots then no image again
similar platform, intel cpu with vga, no descrete

guess im on a row of bad luck :/

could it be bga on pch/nb?

kb9012 ENE ? its command line programmed ..you will have some problem with that , Dycc found a solution for that , try to speak with him

KB9012 has 128 kb eeprom memory inside and you need special programer...i had problems with it on same motherboard...
for dm 4,if it is amd, i belive you had problems with fch chipset...might be just bizzare coincidence with flashing bios with both laptops...i had case when just presing on top of the fch with finger ,laptop would work even for few days after...reball did not work...had to replace chipset...
