Hi Yup your bios wasn't empty and what i did was merge with the newest update 100% working file ..i think you need a new programmer and don't use the clip ..i use the tl866a for years all day long and is cheap on ebay with the opt sockets around 100 usa dollers .. you could always pull up the data sheets for you serial chip to compare ...if you where from n.j i would program and new chip for you.

Hi One last thing one way of knowing if bios is working or not ...plug a external keyboard or mouse see if it light up is one way NEXTED ...IS are you getting RSMRST3.3V & S5 3.3V YESSS THEN YOUR BIOS IS WORKING ....If you use a donor bios with out rebuilding the me region on intel platforms ....you will have random reboots ...fans running full speed ..this is all caused by dirty me region ...amd is fine it could be use from another same computer with no problem ....just need you use a dmi tool to re enter that computer info serial,mac, and so on .

Asus X551CA laptop not powering after removing bios to copy the file. Now if i try to turn on, there is no power from battery nor adapter.But when i try to power on from battery, the battery charging ic (JC FB) is getting over-heated,but not from adapter.So please help me...

techman your bios saved my computer , alltough , im gonna add you here my bios , since its win8 , and password must be enbeeded in te bios , and also to fix regions if possible :P

100%
