hi is it AMD or i intel based laptop common fault with them is BIOS issue. I need the board model number to give you right bios for this model Alternatively you can download bios from hp.com/support. After downloading file you have to extract it with winzip. Look for xxx.fd file this is your bios dump....Leave a comment:

Check standby 25V volt on PQ20 also does it charger the battery? If it is charging the battery looks like BIOS issue. Check continuity on PL21 and PL22 if you are getting 0 Ohms mean there is shortage on 3.3 or 5V Rail. This is the reason you are not getting voltage on BIOS. Hope this helps...Leave a comment:
