    Dell M15 R4 bios motherboard GDR51 LA-K741P

    Hello everyone,

    I've a laptop Alienware M15 R4 motherboard GDR51 LA-K741P with rtx3080
    sn: BD6N9C3

I've setup a long time ago an Admin and a system password. I can run / install OS with the system password but unfortunately i've forgot the admin password so now i can't update my bios. (it asked the admin psw for instal)
I've contact the Dell support for the Admin password in bios and the asked me the system id /challenge password but it won't show up the windows in bios just says you've fail 3 times system restart.
They gave me a code 38DCEE5F to reset but it won't work. I've try to reset hit by tape the psw in the admin setup and valid with ctrl + enter and i also try ctrl + enter enter and it's not working.
I've read on the forum that the password may in the the ec and not the eeprom. If i buy a ch346A and dump the GIGADEVICE 25R127DSIG and reflash it with a stock bios will this erase my password?
Or is there a someone can generate maybe another mastercode. thanks

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
    by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

Dell 9010 MT BIOS Update Always Fails
    by mikeybass
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...

Dell Latitude 5580 possible bios corruption

    Dell latitude 5580, motherboard cdp 80 la-e151p

3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"
    (from here https://www.dell.com/support/manuals...e7a&lang=en-us)

I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.

Since ssd is replaced and had clean install windows, i've...
