Check temperatures, also check the heatsink, i think this model uses liquid metal on the CPU, you may have a dry spot there, careful not to spill it on the board

Try, BIOS extracted from ASUS website with serial/win key inserted

As title states looking for a bios bin file for this chip.
The chip is a Winbond 74m12jwsiq.

Upon doing further research i have found that most people reprogramming this chip use revelprog but since that's not compatible with a CH341a, people were suggesting using the W25Q128FW [1.8V option with asprogrammer and neoprogrammer as thats what it intially detects the chip as. They also claim that this method works.

Type the laptop serial number, full name and model, motherboard model, etc.
post the contents of the bios chip even if it is corrupted..

Thanks for that and it worked. The issue i have now is there was an admin pass and a user pass. The one you sent was the admin that i removed but now the user password has taken over and is locking me lot again as the Admin pass does not work any more

I was able to get into the bios once and removed the admin password but couldn't remove the user pass. Upon restarting the laptop i am now locked out again and the admin password does not work anymore.

                      by razor_amd
With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.

For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.

I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

This is the picture of 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all of them being X555LD...

ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI - BIOS Help
                      by grimacelord
                      Hello,

I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.

I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.

The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.

Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...

                      ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
                      by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                      Some issues
                      A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                      Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...

Asus g750jx Bios turns off after 30 minutes
                      by Newmultifail
I have a problem with the asus g750jx, it shuts down exactly every 30 minutes. There is no overheating and the like, it works perfectly for half an hour. it turns off both in bios and in windows. My guess is that the bios is the problem, would anyone like to take a look and try to fix this bios so I can flash it again?
I should mention that the bios update did not help.
