Request BIOS dump for ASUS FA617NS

Aloha, I'm trying to recover my ASUS TUF Gaming A16 (FA617NS-A16.R77600)
I have the CH341A programmer and can flash the BIOS chip directly. I need a verified full .bin dump (2MB or full SPI region) for this specific model.

    Specs:
    - ASUS TUF FA617NS-A16
    - CPU: AMD Ryzen 7
    - BIOS chip: Winbond W25Q16JVSIQ (2MB)

If anyone has a full dump or can share from a working unit, it would be hugely appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

I have the 7700S variant of this laptop (FA617NT)
That chip you just stated only contains the VBIOS for the 7600S which you can obtain from the techpowerup website (backup first before flashing)

The actual bios chip is circled in red and may require a different connector for your programmer
I cannot provide the BIOS file for this laptop as I have a different model

Try reading the BIOS chip again, if using a clip lower SPI clock frequency to 4-8MHz, cannot extract DMI data from your bad backup...

                  Hi,
Unfortunately, the bios is overwritten already. I made another backup which is attached here. Please let me know if this one worked. If not could we download based on the serial number?
                  Thanks again for your help!

Try BIOS extracted from ASUS website
                    FA617NSR

Make sure you lower SPI clock speed when writing if using clip, otherwise you will have errors

                        Hi,
After a few days working it got the same issue again. I've tried reprogram the chip with the same files few times but no luck. Any idea?

Maybe a faulty BIOS chip, or another hardware problem

ASUS ZenBook UX480F : need help with cleaning the ME region of my BIOS dump
                            by mkdj
                            Dear all,
I have a ASUS ZenBook UX480F with the following symptoms:

I suspect it is a BIOS issue. So I decided to try to clean the ME region. I followed the guide on win-raid, and I believe I have done everything correctly. My problem is: when I open the outimage.bin in ME Analyzer, it says that it is Extracted, and not Region, Extracted as it should be. Is it normal, or did I do something not correctly? This is my first experience editing BIOS files.

I would appreciate if someone could take time to explain the issue, so that I can learn. But I would...

                            by razor_amd
With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.

For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.

I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

This is the picture of 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all of them being X555LD...

Need real mobo dump of BIOS v402 for ASUS PRIME Z590-A - stock image no help
                            by DynaxSC
                            Hi,

I have a serious problem to program the Z590 chipset SRAM with a Management Engine after replacing the chipset.
The new chipset is factory new and is not containing any Management Engine. Any attempts to program it into the chipset under Windows ends with a failure (eg. Error 20: Management Engine Device not present, or something similar).
Due to the lack of the ME several ports on the board, including all M.2 ports aren't working, booting OS works only on USB. So it's now other way, as to program the chipset with a ME.

Usually on ASUS boards it worked...

Request HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 (J06) BIOS dump to restore system firmware
                            by Ahari
                            Hi all,

This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.

I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

                            I...

                            ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
                            by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                            Some issues
                            A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                            Things I tried
