Lenovo ideapad 3 15ARH05 corrupt bios settings

Hello good day. Long story short. i unlocked the bios using SREP and switched the setting "Special display features Enable/Disable HybridGraphics" from "HybridGraphics" to "disabled"

this has bricked the laptop. it does not boot on internal or external display...

i have tried flashing known good roms from both lenovo and other forums and reflashed it to the chip.

but still no boot. the device turns on and cpu heat's up. but no post/boot.

I have attached the dumped corrupt bios.

The original serial is PF2KJR1J and bios version was FCCN21WW.

Board has the following info printed on it "GY535/GY536" with board ID of NM-D191 / NM-D19 Rev 1.0

System is AMD and with 1650 (TI? not sure) dgpu.

system worked perfectly fine before i screwed up that single bios setting.

i read on a unrelated forum that recovery is impossible for these modern AMD systems if bios setting caused a brick??

Here is your new file, it's a virgin BIOS from Lenovo with your DMI and Windows Key.

thanks for the reply! will test and report back asap. have desoldered and resolderd this chip like 4 times already testing different biosses LOL. (also got a bunch of spare SPI chips to test incase i fried the OG)

Board uses 1.8v chip. my flasher is 1.8v confirmed.

        hoping this is finally it.

          Working perfectly with your bios.

I think it seems that these boards will NOT permit older biosses once upgraded before. even if reflashed using a known good old build.

That's great. I don't know where did you get a known good BIOS, but anyway it could be not suitable for your device.

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...

Problem with PANASONIC CF53 laptop after changing BIOS settings
                by AquaMan Ua
Hello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...

HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2523nd - Dimm2 slot disabled after corrupt bios repair? Advice requested.
                by Bloodhoundje
                Hi everyone,

I have been doing hardware repair as a hobby for some years now and recently decided to learn about repairing laptops as a fun challenge.

I managed to get my hands on a "HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2523nd" notebook that only shows a white power LED and doesnt respond to anything.

After initial testing I concluded the bios seems to be corrupted since all voltages are normal and there are no shorts. HP has a feature for a bios restore from USB with winkey+B for this model. This did not work.

I have desoldered the bios chip (GigaDevice...

Dell Latitude E7270 - Requesting BIOS clean/corrupt? service tag CB00KC2
                by TripTop
                Hi

i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
                - takes long time to restart.
                - sometimes powers on and then off
                - sometimes while working it just dies,

From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?

i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)

As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.
                I reinstall...

                🛠️ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
                by macabook
                Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                🧩 Initial Issue
                • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                • External display (HDMI) shows
                ...
